Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center

The exhibits in this project were made in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for the Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge in southwestern Florida. The graphics for this small job were fully designed and produced by myself. The exhibit was built for the refuge visitor center and contains a handful of graphic panels, an interactive touchscreen exhibit, and some mobile pieces to aid in educating the public on the go.

Visitors are greeted by this welcome panel with overlapping logo panel when entering the refuge’s lobby. The outline below shows the display case and countertop that were custom built to fit the space and showcase the taxidermy panther. The countertop to the left of the panther has a complex rounded shape on the lower portion, and an upper portion that is more vertical and cone shaped. It also has a touchscreen monitor mounted inside which the viewer can interact with to learn more about the Florida panther.

The slides below show the touchscreen graphics that I designed for the screen fitted within the countertop.

The three pieces below were designed to be used for education on the go and in the field. There are two vertical banners which can be rolled up into a weighted base. There is also a cart with a graphic wrap on three sides, and a set of drawers on the fourth side which contain artifacts and other teaching materials.
